Superpoints!

I just found a new earning site that seems promising.  I remember doing it a year and a half ago and got five bucks out of it but the site went down.  But now it's up again and it looks like they've remodeled everything for the better.  I'm pretty pleased with my experience so far, and it can't hurt to give it a go.

Blogger seems to have changed a bit too, that I can't add a page tab next to my Swagbucks tab, for some odd reason.  At least I got to add a page to the actual blog itself so I thought I'd better go ahead and post a link to my blog page so that you all can access it.  Hopefuly I can figure things out as I've ben away for a while before I started posting again.  But in the meantime here's my page link.

My Facebook Page

I just recently updated my Facebook page Izzy's Corner.  So excited that I'm getting likes outside of my circle of facebook friends. Just today I had a person message me wondering about the price of my dishcloths.  I'm also in a number of buy/sell groups for my city, so that helps with my page likes.  I can sell out of the country but the shipping costs will be too much for the buyer, I would suppose, unless they're ordering a lot at a time.

So far I only have dishcloths/hotpads, scarves, gift bags, and a preemie baby blanket (can be used as a baby car seat blanket as well).  I hope to graduate to tiny crochet dangly earrings.  I've gotten the earring hooks and I already have small crochet hooks and embroidery thread, now it's getting around to making them.

2014!!!!!

I'm here in my new flat now, and loving the new area.  The bus stop is just outside my apartment building, roads are level, and walking distance to some of the stores.

I've also taken the time to crochet - and a lot of crocheted items have materialised from my hook.  Love learning new stitches.  I've even managed to sell a few of my items, so I'm pretty happy with that.

A friend has also introduced me to Mary Kay, and gave me a partial facial (for off the record type thing).  Tomorrow I'll get my first "official" facial with the area director - cleansing creams and makeup, the whole nine yards, and I'll feel like a pretty girly-girl, which doesn't often happen for a a disabled mum of 2 and a hectric schedule.  Pretty pumped for that.  I ordered my starter's kit and waiting for my consultant number to come through, then I'll set up my MK website.  And the beauty of this all...IT'S NOT MLM!!!!! What a HUGE relief.  Now I've known about MK for a while but I didn't realise it has been a top-notch company for over 50 years, but hey, remember I never was into makeup, but let me tell you, when my friend gave me my cleanser facial, I felt like Queen Elizabeth III.  I'll post a picture (still enough to scare the rats away, ha ha) but hey at least it's a start!

A Long-Awaited Post - and a Cat!

It has been quite a while since I've last updated this blog, much to my chagrin.  Already it's the year 2014 and I'm looking at my very last post dated November 12, 2012!  A lot has happened over the years, lots in my personal live, including a move to a 3-bedroom flat to give both of my children their own room, and an addition to our family - we adopted a cat! Her name is Kitty, and she is the most gentle cat I've ever came across in my life (as I grew up with many cats).
