Swagbucks

We all love getting free stuff.  Some of us would clip coupons to get a discount, which has been a practise for many years, and still others will go to great lengths to get free stuff.  With today's technology and the Internet, that's easily achievable with minimal work.  One of my favourite websites offers fun and games - and free stuff - anywhere from gift certificates to clothing to electronics.  The best thing about this site is that it's free to join!

Swagbucks is a fun site available to residents in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, and just recently, Australia.  The payment processor they use is PayPal.  If you don't have a paypal account, you type in your browser address bar http://www.paypal.com to sign up for a free, secure account.  PayPal is one of the most trusted online e-wallet that's used by big-name companies like Ebay and Amazon.

Swagbucks.com is active on Facebook and Twitter.  The SB Team uses these two sites to announce any promotional codes (Swag Codes) that will help you earn points to redeem for free stuff.  Simply click on the banner below to get started.

So how do I earn from Swagbucks.com anyway?

Search and Win I normally use the search bar in the morning and in the evening, averaging to about 2 or 3 wins per day.  We usually get anywhere between 6 and 50 swagbucks per search win, but normally it's from 8 to 12 swagbucks.

Daily Poll On the left-hand side of the site you'll see a list.  Look for Daily Polls and click on that.  Vote on that poll, and you'll automatically win 1 swagbuck.

Swagbucks TV Earn 3 Swagbucks for every ten videos you watch.  At the top right-hand corner on the SBTV page, you'll see a Swag-o-meter, which will tell you how far you've gone to achieve your 3 swagbucks  Choose from any TV topic - Hollywood, Reuters, Martha Stewart, and much more to choose from.  You can earn up to 150 swagbucks per day just by watching videos.

Games Earn up to 10 swagbucks per day on playing games.  You can either play free games (and you  can win 2 swagbucks after playing some games!) or you can enter into tournaments for a small "swagbuck fee" for chances to earn big swagbucks.  You would then be competing against other Swaggers.

NOSO (No Obligation Special Offers) Again you will find in that list "NOSO".  Click on that, and simply follow the path on the page.  You do not have to sign up for any offer on this particular page if you don't want to.  In fact, if you simply follow these steps, you'll earn 2 swagbucks!

Swag Codes The "treasure hunt" of Swagbucks!  Everyone one loves a little fun with hunting down a code.  They can be in the official blog, the SB Facebook page and their Twitter page. For us Canadians, Swagbucks released a Facebook page just for us. So you can see just how active these guys really are!

There's a few other ways of earning, like Trusted Surveys, Special Offers, and redeeming printable coupons.  Please read the FAQ and click on the Even More tab on the swagbucks.com home page and it'll tell you all the things you need to know.

Did you know...?

~If you go to your home page and scroll down a bit, you'll see a random hourly winner.  If you see your swag name (username) that means it is you that has won 1000 swagbucks!  That's more than enough to redeem for a $5 paypal gift card, or $10 amazon gift card!

~If you get a referral, you can get matching swagbucks on their search wins - up to 1000 swagbucks! So if Joe underneath you wins 12 swagbucks - you'll also get the same amount.

~If you get 2500 swagbucks you can redeem them for a $25 paypal gift card. The way it works is that each Swagbuck you earn, that equals to 1 cent in cash. So, 10,000 Swagbucks will get you $100 Paypal.  I personally try to aim for 50 swagbucks per day when I go at a relaxed, steady pace.

-You only have to be 16 years old to join Swagbucks.  So even young folks wanting to earn a bit of swag can play around and earn at the same time.

-Swagbucks give to charity such as the Red Cross and St Jude's Children's hospital.  Users can donate a few of their swagbucks to help with charity donations and relief efforts such as the recent disaster that occured in the Philippines.
