A Rant That's Worth A Pittance

I've been dabbling in the PTC world - or better known as the World of Pittance Earnings - $0.04 per day as a standard member, assuming the clicks are worth one cent. That's basically the the understanding, you join a bux site and you expect to get four cents a day, unless you get a lot of referrals. Some top marketers get a few hundred bucks a month, but they must have a few thousand referrals, nothing like us average Joes in the marketing world. But strangely enough a lot of us keep plugging on, a few months we'll come to our minimum payments of two bucks. Yep, 200 cents. Whoo hoo!!! Better than nothing, though, we can buy into some cheap matrix to generate a few more bucks - yeah, ten bucks in our AlertPay accounts! Not too shabby, eh?

Then a new trend begins...the infamous four to five clicks a day valued at $0.001 each. Yes, there's supposed to be an extra zero in there. That's a tenth of a cent. Oh don't' get me wrong, we do have a few generous admins that'll give us maybe ten ads or so, that's a big fat penny per day, perhaps a bit more.

Yet we're suckers. We'll click until our fingers fall off our hands. Anything for a free penny. Spend a lot of money advertising, chasing down referrals. If we're lucky we'll gain back the money. But hey, we're starting make some moneyyyyyy!!!!! Ha.

In online marketing we're supposed to aim to make a profit. Perhaps smart clickers like me will just stick with programs that pay us whole pennies, not just a fraction of a penny. If more clickers take our leads, maybe the skimpy admins will take a hint and smarten up.
